At CJASC we routinely keep track of several quality measures that have been recommended by the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) including cecal intubation rates, adenoma detection rates, and withdrawal time. We are happy to report that amongst our physicians we have an adenoma detection rate of 26%, which is higher than the 20% that has been described in most studies. Our cecal intubation rates and withdrawal times are also consistently higher than the suggested minimal rates for high quality colonoscopies. We also measure and record the quality of our patient’s bowel preparations.

All Endoscopy Technicians are Certified through the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) with the credential of CFER (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor). This Certification promotes the highest standard in infection prevention.
