Dr. Shreyas Saligram, MD, MRCP (UK), FACG, FASGE initially practiced medicine in United Kingdom. There, he obtained the membership in the prestigious Royal college of physicians. Thereafter, he moved to USA and completed his residency training in Internal medicine in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Fellowship training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology in Kansas University Medical Center. He sub-specialized further by completing an Advanced endoscopy training in Moffit Cancer Center, University of South Florida. He is board certified in Internal medicine and Gastroenterology.

He used to work as an Interventional Gastroenterologist and was an Associate professor in University of Texas health, San Antonio prior to moving to New jersey. He has presented in multiple national and international conferences with several research article publications in the field of Gastroenterology looking at the outcomes of endoscopic treatment in Barrett’s esophagus and colon polyps as also evaluating risk factors for various Gastro-intestinal disorders including Barrett’s esophagus, Acute pancreatitis and Pancreatic necrosis being some of them.

He has an extensive experience in diagnosing and treating many Gastro-intestinal disorders with special interest in colon polyp treatment, detecting and staging Gastro-intestinal cancers and in treating pancreatico-biliary diseases. He is an expert in various procedures like Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy, complex stricture remediation, endoscopic treatment of Barrett’s esophagus, mucosal resection, enteral stent placement, ERCP, EUS and use of artificial intelligence in endoscopy.
